The Writers Retreat is a non-profit organization founded by six-time best-selling author, Karolyne Roberts. The mission of The Writers Retreat is to empower and equip women to birth their God-given writing projects. It is a safe-haven for writers to come and focus on their writing projects while receiving training and one-on-one coaching by Karolyne and other authors. Through this ministry, The Writers Retreat aims to give back to the community by offering services and supplies. All proceeds and gifts go towards supporting orphans in Haiti and other third-world countries. The Writers Retreat also helps to provide stationery goods such as paper, notebooks, pens and pencils for writers in low-income communities and shelters.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if someone was serving you delicious healthy food, and there was a writing coach on call to hold your hand throughout the process? Well at our retreat you will have the opportunity to pick Karolyne’s brain during 1-on-1 coaching sessions and group activities.
This is for the writer who knows that if they had time free of distractions, filled with inspiration, and intimate time with God, they would write that thing burning inside of them – or finish that project that needs their full attention.
“WOW! The Writers Retreat was AWESOME. A special time to get away, focus on my writing project, get inspired by accomplished authors and fellowship with like-minded women. It was practical, spiritual, relaxing and informative. I love Karolyne’s sweet spirit & Terrenique’s warmth and authenticity. Thanks ladies, you ROCK!”
“I was very pleased with this whole retreat. Each session was loaded with information to push me to write my book. The living accomodations were fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed our activites such as hiking, the BBQ, and the all-white dinner party. To top it off, the retreat was centered on Christ, and you can’t get any better than that!”
“My experience was refreshing. The information and skills were relevant and useful and the workshops increased my knowledge of the writing world. I was most excited about being around like-minded christians. I loved quiet time and group activities. It was challenging and rewarding.”
